Dr. Jason Kouri, MD

Medical Doctor and Medical Director

Dr. Jason Kouri, MD is our Medical Director, and is Board Certified in Urgent Care by the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine. He heads over all of our diagnostic and treatment protocols for patients, and performs all stem cell procedures at Atlas Medical Center. He has a passion for helping patients suffering with neuropathy symptoms, chronic joint, and spine pain improve their quality of life.

Dr. Kouri graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California at Irvine in 1991 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He continued his graduate education at the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego where he received a degree in Medicine in 1996. Dr. Kouri then entered the United States Navy as a Family Practice intern and went on to become a General Medical Officer. He spent most of his four years in the Navy caring for Marines and Sailors on land and at sea while attached to a Marine Expeditionary Unit. He received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for leading a medical team of 20 providers in a Humanitarian Assistance Operation in Kenya, East Africa in action for saving the life of a sailor.  Dr. Kouri also served on the Bioethics Review Committee at the Naval Hospital in Camp Pendleton. Upon honorable discharge, Dr. Kouri practiced Family Medicine for five years caring for American Indians on several reservations in Southern California.  In 2005, Dr. Kouri began to focus on Urgent Care, Occupational and Integrative Medicine. He was the managing physician of an integrated care clinic in San Diego, CA for 7 years. In 2012, he moved back to Texas where he continued working with integrated care clinics. In 2015, he co-authored the book Type 2 Diabetes is Reversible. 

Dr. Kouri is well versed in the field of regenerative medicine and has years of experience in performing and administering all types of restorative therapies including bone marrow cell therapy and platelet rich plasma for orthopedic conditions. 

Dr. Kouri oversees and works with Lisa Moore, his advanced nurse practitioner.  They are both experts at performing many types of joint and nerve injections, and are huge advocates of using Ultrasound needle guidance to make sure that they are injected precisely on the mark, where they are intended to be for optimal results. 

In addition, Atlas Medical Center and  Dr. Kouri participate in Partners 4 Patients with the Arthritis Foundation.  This allows patients to have a “go to” resource for education about treatment options for Arthritis.  Dr. Kouri, is also a former member of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians and the Academy of Regenerative Medicine.

Lisa Moore, ANP

Adult Nurse Practitioner

Lisa Moore is a compassionate, and highly experienced Adult Nurse Practitioner with a mission to help patients get out of pain, gain back their mobility, and improve their quality of life.

She completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing from UTA in 1984. In 2008, she graduated from TWU (Texas Woman’s University) as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. 

Lisa worked for Parkland for over 21 years. While at Parkland she was the head nurse and was a preceptor for new nurses and students.  For over a decade, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner doing primary care, pain management, and physical medicine around the DFW area.

She enjoys working at the Atlas Medical Center where a multi-disciplinary approach allows patients to get conservative and conventional medical treatments, regenerative therapies and physiotherapy- concurrently.

Lisa works with Dr. Jason Kouri, MD and consults with each new patient to thoroughly evaluate them medically. Working with Dr. Kouri, Lisa qualifies each new patient for acceptance in care for all of our medical and therapy programs offered at the Atlas Medical Center.

Lisa has years of experience and has successfully performed thousands of joint injections using precise ultrasound guidance- and is often sought after by patients fearful of injections- due to her impressive skills of administering them…PAINLESSLY. 

Over the years, she has helped hundreds of patients relieve neuropathy symptoms, and avoid unnecessary joint surgeries with regenerative therapy, nutrition, and physiotherapy.   

Lisa is well versed in the field of restorative therapies.  She is an former associate member in both the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine, and the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians.  She is also a former member of the Cellular Medicine Association. She was trained to perform the O-Shot, P-Shot, Vampire Facial, and Hair Rejuvenation procedures using Dr. Charles Runels, MD methods.  In addition, Lisa is sought after in the field of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy where she has trained numerous health care providers on the proper placement and management of hormone therapy in both men and woman.  

Lisa is a proud member of the North Texas Nurse Practitioners association and the American Nurses Association.

Lisa loves cats.  She is passionate about adopting stray cats and giving them a forever home.
